From a purist perspective I agree that there is lack of focus and fill-flash on the main subject (Andree?s comment), but still you got a realism here that is quite effective ("these are real people in their real environment").

Great work. You are very lucky to be able to travel so much. I noticed you have lots of portraits in your portfolio. They have very interesting faces and great lighting and textures. The only thing I would like to suggest on them is to try doing them vertically as this gives a lot of impact on the subject.
I also wanted to thank you Jose for your wonderful comments on my images. They are very much appreciated.

I like the composition and the intimacy of the shot. I just wish the focus was on the gentleman closest to the lens. I would also have used a fill flash to put a twinkle in their eyes and minimize the harsh light and shadow. Regards, Andree
