About The great total lunar eclipse in october 2004. Early in the morning of 29/10 earth shadow made the moon red, it was really a fantastic sight. I used my telescope @ 1764mm f/6.3 and made a 6 second exposure to get this photo. Thanks for looking! /P-M

Hello Manuel!
Thanks for your comment.
I use a 11" SCT, Celestron NexStar 11 GPS, a 2800mm f/10 aparture (1764mm f/6.3 with a focalreducer). To photograph the moon I use a T-adapter that fits my Nikon F65. To photograph deepsky with long exposures you will need some kind of guiding equipment and a wedge so that you can polar-align the telescope.

Good luck!

Best regards

Eclipses are so gorgeous. You captured great detail and the colour essence of the eclipse. Wonderful.
