Nice shot Marian, honestly I would have never consider the roofs as a nice background but you have done a superb job and created a nice cityscape. The silhouttes of the antennas are original and I guess the equivalent of "urban tree branches" :) The sky tones are gorgeous! :) Excellent work! -- Warm regards, Rafael

This is a lovely picture. The soft colours and whispy clouds in the sky are pretty.
Marian, my friend, I know we don't know each other very well. However, what I do know about you tells me you are a kind, caring person. You love taking pictures to capture moments in your life. Please remember that one's person's comment in simply that--one person's comment. As has been mentioned, sometimes a different language can be expressed in a way that does not reflect the original intention. Also, written language can not capture the expression or tone of the writer and can be misinterpreted. Perhaps the person would be concerned that the comment upset you. Whatever the case, please keep posting, please push the hurtful comment out of your mind, please remember that you have friends here.

Marian, I wholeheartedly endorse my partner Margaret's sentiments. Try not to take things to heart. The written word (coupled with language differences) can easily be misconstrued. You and I are just getting to know each other and you have many friends on this site. So, please, please please keep uploading wonderful evocative shots such as this one which is so moody and full of atmosphere. I shall be looking out with interest.

Marian this is a beautiful composition the colours are lovely, and it is tranquil. I am however most disturbed that you are hurt, there are people who seem to like to be hurtful, and there are also those who mean well, and do not intend to upset, but between e mail, and language problems, can be misunderstood. Whatever or whoever upset you, if you don't feel like commenting for a while - none of your friends will mind, but do not think about not posting. Your enjoyment from photography is the most important thing, and sharing is so much better, please try to ignore one 'critic'. Take care
