Very neat perspective on a done-to-death kind of image. I wish that the DOF included the entire leaf... I like the black in the top corner as it shows off the edge of the flower and makes the leaf more pronounced.

Dear Marion,
the soft purple combined with this sharp leaf is really beautiful.

Wonderful, Marion! I love the unexpected focus on the little green leaf rather than the showier flower!

Marion, this is great again!
I am sure that the lens you have helps but compositions are yours. Bravo!

Hi Marion, Superb approach, taking a tulip out of perspective, and using the green leaf not only to counter the deep purple, but also to introduce an unexpected primary subject. Top Notch! Maybe the black in the top right is a bit redundant, and if it were possible, I might consider a reshoot to cover that area with the purple petals as well, as I think you really have a gem here.
Cheers,
Hugo

It's rare that I see a picture like this one.. focusing on the leaf instead of the flower itself.. The focus is great, beautifully presented... 7/7
