That?s THE question ... I prefer to see it as half filled (at least) ;-) Excellent work, Ursula!

Interesting still life and good find of an ambivalent question dear Ursula. My answer is one that there all of the world are filled up in the glass and the liquid is a part of them.

With that G3, one can do such magnificent work! I'm like you, I love going to flea markets looking for glass artwork, especially.

This is the ability of how you see such interesting subject, am sure this way been done by another artistic as you did within this composition, half empty or half full, does not matter much, `cos the work done fully, superb. Saeed

Hi Ursula,

LG,

Thilo

Hi Ursula, it's not the tilt in the shot, but the crooked glass I was referring to. (and the way the cup was bent relative to the stem of the glass). Just a silly remark, nothing to do with your photo...:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Hugo,I'm not sure what you mean...the glass is must be a mishap,as it is as tilted.A curiosity...tilting it,I must crop a lot.But I try another attempt...:)
Thanks for your very appreciated comments!
Cheers,Ursula

Hi Ursula, that's always an interesting question: Half full or half empty. In this case, a slight variation (45 degrees vertical or 45 degrees horizontally) could also apply.

Nice partial view, and the combination of green and blue is excellent here, countering eachother beautifully. Well captured, with a subtle but effective DOF.

Cheers,

Hugo
