The natural contrast of the bright yellow and deep purple naturally beautiful and the way you captured the flower c choosing to almost center the flower and have those colors act like radiating rays is wonderful!
the clarity of the details and colors are unbelievable!

SO gorgeous, vibrant colours and I love the way the centre is so razor sharp and detail, and it flare out softer and softer. lovely composition.
You asked me about a background of mine, have put the same sort on this image for you to see. I choose a couple of colours, [usually from the image] then go into filters, then to Render - then to fibers, and you can adjust how you want it . Hope this is helpful, I think it was just background info you wanted, not the drop shadow/bevel etc

Eric...this is a very beautiful image. I don't understand why it hasn't recieved much attention. I would probably prefer to see it under the creative flower project.
