Qeustion 1. The trees are pollard Lime Tree
We have in the Neteherlands may trees on wall from canals they are Pollard Willows, but in the village most Lime Tree
Question 2. The Storks have some time nesting on the roofs for many years ago. We had for an long time almost no Storks .There are no eat and clean water for frogs (eat for stork). Now the water is in teh Netherlands again clean an there are again storks in the field, most nesting on carweels on an Stake.When I see one I shall take an photo

Two questions for you...
What kind of trees are those that are "trimmed" along the canals?
I've been reading a children's book.. "The Wheel on the School" by Meindert DeJong, and I was wondering if the storks still roost on the roofs of the houses in some of the villages? I'd *love* to see such a picturesque photo! :)
