Nice picture i like the colurs and the compostion. Look like a picture on a cd cover from some hard rock band.
Also thanks four your honest comment. I was testing out some ir filter and you are right it was to much. Your idea gives a better result. I am still in that phase that i test new techniques to learn so much as possible about photo.

Sarah - I think the secret to this shot was that I was in a completely dark room when I took the it. It took a couple shots to get the effect I desired. The first photo I took is also in my portfolio. Thank you for your comment. BTW, I absolutely adore your flora photos. You have a very good eye for capturing the true essence of the flower in all its innocence and beauty.
