Nice monochrome portrait, like the expression of the model. Very creative on the tilt, the shallow DOF is spot on. Just an opinion Joern, wish model were positioned more towards right side otherwise I like the shot, cheers.

this is an interesting shot joern. i like the way you've composed it, i like the washed out sky and upper left of the shot - it adds some dramatic overtones to it i think - and i very much like the way you've framed it - very fitting. I don't like your model's expression though - and furthermore, i don't see this as an intimate portrait - what i see here is a girl who tries to look "cool" and detached - much like every other wannabe somebody these days. Ask yourself joern - "who's this chick looking into my camera?" and let your camera answer that question. you might come up with an intimate portrait then. cheers, d
