Really a magnificent shot, the trees above the tiny people forming a kind of dome, superb use of tele perspective. You darkened the left side, and I understand why. But I must confess that I feel like Sven about that, a tad more detail on the left side would not hurt, IMO

Keeping the left as well exposed as the right side was impossible as the light came in from the left.. so i had to choose with the levels/curves, and i chose to darken the left side and brighten up the rest ;-) Thanks for looking Manu ! Peter

You're quite right that the left side became a tad too dark.. allthough that did not bother me, i had to choose targets, and i preferred the viewer's eyes went into the gallery .. so not to draw much attention on the foreground trees .. so yes it was deliberate .. ;-) Thanks for your honest criqique Svend !! That's what i like about this forum !! Peter

Quite the composition with the looming trees that somehow do not threaten the happy bicyclists! The contrast between the left-hand and right-hand bank of trees is heavy-handed, though. The light is coming through the trees at left, blackening it as much as you have done makes it look artificial.

Single shot Thilo .. and cropped a bit afterwards .. indeed it makes us so humble but i mean too that nature is leading us, we have to follow what nature does, not use/misuse it ;-)) Peter

A beautiful photograph that almost looks like a painting. The trees appear to bend outwards towards the middle of frame and then back in, which may be the result of lens distortion, but this is a minor defect. I think this photo would be excellent printed up large, framed and put on the wall.
