I've seen so many B&W images that were produced from desaturated digital colour images, and the best of them can be really good. But they are often somehow noticeably different from images produced from film, particularly from MF negatives. This has the beautiful range of tones and the stunning sharpness that I love. You are fortunate to be in a situation where you can photograph children without having irate parents after you!

I agree with everybody about the great tones and beautiful smiles, and I DO like the position of circles behind them. Well done, Ori.

Hi Ed, when I say "posed" I really ment it in the way you described it. Only a little direction where to stand and the rest is just the way it is. Either way, there is something in almost all your photos. When I browse through the thumbnails I found your photos without looking at the name.

Most of my photos are not really posed, especially the ones at the ballpark. I just find a spot with good light and either wait until someone steps into that light, or I will tell them stand or sit there. In this case, the playground was bathed in direct sunlight except for one tiny area behind those circles. All I said was 'Go over there by those circles'. I made two exposures and this is one of them. And I NEVER say 'Smile!'.

As usual another great shot from you Ed. The girls are really cute and happy. I'm new in photography and I don't know the entire technicality but I sure know that I like your style. I hope one day I could shot at lease one picture as you do.

great tones! I like how they lean onto each other. Shows friendship and warmth. Again you managed to get this special, natural and personal feeling on a photo, even though your photos are all posed. There are so many other posed portraits that lack the serene feeling, the natural look. I can only assume it is also your personality.

Nice shot. You captured a great smile on the girls face. I'm only not sure about the circles position on the background.
