Nice to see something so small in such detail, I quite like the noiseit adds character - well it's adds something positive anyway. Wasn't a four leaf clover by any chance?! ;~}

Well, Larry, It is and it isn't. This lens has a macro capability at 135mm, but it doesn't give 1:1 magnification by any stretch. Hence the crop. Thanks . . . --g

So this isn't really a macro, but sort of a telephoto, but some of these lens can be set on macro also, is that right George??

You know..I looked at this photo before reading your comments wondering what the heck kind of flower is this? I even showed my wife & we were both stumped. The wonders of close photo with crop has created a world we didn't know was there
