About I don't know what this flower is called but it's in a hanging basket on my porch and it's pretty! Shade, 1/125, f3.5, ISO 50, super macro mode. Suggestions very welcome!

I love the vibrant colors - I don't know if this is what the others were talking about, but for me the two petals on the uppper right corner (that are out of focus) were distracting. Also, maybe try balancing it off with all the petal tips in the frame? This is a very striking photo, you can't help but be entranced by those colors!

This is a great floral that provides a wonderful burst of colours and the clarity of it is also superb. I agree with Randy about the top "right" corner, the leaves encroaching behind the bloom but still being in focus are a little distracting but not enough to spoil this excellent macro.

Thanks

Hmmm...sorry Tiffany,I meant the other 'left',the right top corner. Just a small thing,I was referring to the two ends of leaves comming straight down. :)

Flowers are wonderful anytime - but there is really something about all of the beautiful spring blossoms that gives you that "glad to be alive" feeling. Great shot - really like the soft purple in the background - perfect compliments to the flower center. Jan

Great macro and details! Nice composition, Tiffany. It's interesting to see around our house and finding something which is actually beautiful..:) Make our eyes becoming more appreciative. Congratulations for the discovery..:)

hhmmmm...I can't, for the life of me, find anything (distracting or not) in the upper left!

It's gorgeous, Tiffany...I believe it's an osteospermum (I think?) Excellent real color on this one...great job!

A beautiful pallet of colors, really nice floral. The upper left is a bit distracting, if you can remember to scan the frame when you take a floral shot like this, you may be able to pinch off a distracting leaf or trig or simply bend it out of the way before you click off a shot.

wow, Tiffany, this is very pretty! Makes ya wonder how good cooked up a gradient from blue to orange, eh?
