Isn't it a discussion forum, Margaret? I prefer your version to mine, but the best would probably have been to put it as I shot it. In the attached version I just blurred the background a bit, no other change. Like it?

I hate it when you put work in and then don't like the result. I sort of agree, I like the flower, I like the composition, but something doesn't quite gel. How about trying to tone the frame down maybe it is the contrasts are too much - tried it - do you like it

Someone wrote about tese photos that I had selected the people and objects in it unconsciously and I think he/she was right. I'm glad To have aroused fond memories of Vienna in you.
