Isn't it a discussion forum, Margaret? I prefer your version to mine, but the best would probably have been to put it as I shot it. In the attached version I just blurred the background a bit, no other change. Like it?

I hate it when you put work in and then don't like the result. I sort of agree, I like the flower, I like the composition, but something doesn't quite gel. How about trying to tone the frame down maybe it is the contrasts are too much - tried it - do you like it Margaret

If symphony means harmony, you acheived it excellently, Markus. Thank you for you understanding comment on my "Fantasy with Rachel" and my "Dreaming of Vienna." Someone wrote about tese photos that I had selected the people and objects in it unconsciously and I think he/she was right. I'm glad To have aroused fond memories of Vienna in you.
