I find that even when they've long dried out, they still remain interesting, and the textures sometimes change. I'm reminded that there is a cycle in nature and life. Another way that you could present this is in a square format, with the subject more or less in the center. I prefer it off center. I like the position of the sun. It wouldn't be as good if it was during mid day.
Very well done technically. I think that I would like a little more of the stem to balance the composition. Great DOP, light, and exposure. Regards, Andree
