A shot of the river Nidd at Birstwith, near Knaresborough.
Taken yesterday when I met up with Steve B for a little shoot. Actually was a decent day, nice patterns in the light, which just got better and better as the day went on.
This is the top tier of a 4 tier weir - and with there being little rain recently you get a few twigs and things stuck at the top of it.
Particularly like the w\y you get 3 parts to this, at the left there's the fall, then there;'s the twigs and rapids and finally the tree reflected to the right.
A great day so hopefully get a few more from it to put up. May even put one of Mr bowden up again..... if I dare!!!
Ade, I love the magical effect of the slow shutter speed on the water here, I also like the diagonal composition. The reflections at the top right are a bit distracting to an otherwise supurb shot. Very well done.
