Very cute child and so innocent expressions. Very cute. Excellent tonal range. The image is slightly soft for my taste. IMO if you had not cropped off the mic , left hand and the head and given more space on the left where the child is looking it would have balanced the off center composition instead of present central composition. As now IMV the cropped hand, mic and the head are slightly distracting. There is also lack of breathing space on the left where the eyes are looking. The Viewer is forced to see out of the frame while looking at the picture which I know is not the intention here.
But these small bits do not take away anything from the high aesthetic value of this picture.

I really like the lighting and his expression in this, I only wish it were more focused.... easier said than done at this age, though ;o)
