Thanks Brad. This is such a good example of how different we all percieve things. I never took thought of all the geometry involved in this. I was thinking of the story behind it: everything at rest, waiting to be used again. I was hearing the stream not so far away, feeling the humid air and smelling the rubber waders behind this picture. You're right and you're very kind- thanks so much for your comments! I admire your work a lot!

Lines....angles....geometry! Funny, I was so drawn by those elements, that I didn't even realize that there was script on the shot, until I looked a second time. A clear indicator of how powerful the math is here. LOVE it! ...Brad

I like it as it is. Means more to me, because I used to fish. Hopefully again.

another fine pic. I like the b and w tones. I like the composition and the story that the chair, coat, and pole brings to my mind

Thanks! Tiffany, I am definitely going to try out your suggestion. I hadn't realized you could achieve the DOF effect through post-editing. Thanks.

Love this one Andrea! Great composition! I would probably decrease the dof a little by slightly blurring the grass, fence and tree. It can be done post process in PSP9.
