... not only for you, but for us too. We need to feed a hunger stronger than sleep, a long day at work, daily life troubles and struggles. The way I see it, when it works, it's a communion between the spectator and the performer, it's the merging of our perception into the artist's, who was able to see beyond the ordinary; your camera is a mirror that reflects not only the external reality, but the shadows that control and shape this reality into what we see for an infinitesimal fraction of time; I know this is very Platonic (literally) and romantic, but, in my humble opinion, this is how I see it.
Keep your good work.
Francisco
PS: You're welcome :-)

Francisco, thank you for your kind words. Your comments are seen, all commentas are seen and are important. In that way I know that people noticed my work, spent few seconds or even minutes to see what I posted, to spent their precious seconds only for me.

This image keeps me coming back to see it; every time I post a comment, it pops up at the end, wanting to be noticed and seen again. I give up.
Let me tell you, it brings back so many memories from my birth country and one of the most beautiful Gothic Basilicas, Santa Teresita. It awakens childhood memories of walking by the church at sunset and just seeing those inmense towers poking at Heaven with their spears. And, there were Gargoyles and Griffins guarding the sainthood of the place, with menacing faces and mean attitudes.
Your picture, Narabia Monika, is made out of dreams and Freudian fantasies, it has the power of disturbing the settled dust of childhood and ancillary repressions.
You're a magician. Thanks.
Francisco

A church is always a place of mystery... a place to kneel... a place to contemplate... a place to get away from the maddening crowd...
A superb capture... with the real NYC seeping through the fog... that goodness it is not polution, as St. Patrick must have been 'green'!
Well seen!

I do not know when will be that happy next time to be able to go to NYC.

wow. great silhouette and the ghost look of the modern building. I have noticed too, that on some night, the lighting, provoked by the moon and air and atmopshere is so special! Was it a special night? special lighting? Biliana
