Really excellent, Pat - and a great use of the extension tube. I'm liking the idea of that, not being overly fond of getting close to critters like wasps. ;) The detail and composition here are terrific.

Paper wasp? I would be interested in seeing a frontal view... they have unique faces (meaning that an individual has a different face than another one in it's species)... The extension tube is used to its full potential here... the depth of field is terrific. It suffers whenever I use mine. Nice photo.
