Thanks for the feedback IT, always appreciated. I used the fire walking festival as an excuse last week to go out and buy a zoom and this was pretty much the photo I had in mind. A worthwhile purchase if I may say so (and which may come in handy one day if I ever get a distant view of some, let's say, stray uranium-filled containers on dockside, or whatever). Re. running it through PS I've adjusted the curves a bit in included photo but think Scott in his earlier critique has put in a lot more colour than actually existed. It was coals and ash the people were walking on, not earth and the man in the photo was actually wearing grey flannels.

Nice Scott. I shot 400 pics at the festival yesterday and was too lazy/overwhelmed/blurry eyes to be bothered to do post processing. Thanks for seeing what I missed.

I liked your photo but then I went and pplayed with it in post processing. I hope I don't offend.

I sharpened some areaea of the screen and softened others as well as changed the color a bit as well as intensity
