I like night shots, and I like aircraft, soI can't help but like this.

Despite it's limitations I'm suprised at how well the S5000 copes with night photography.

Great night shot, Dave. Reminds me of the scenes when I'd go out and hop a FedEx freighter at the Memphis hub.

Cool night shot of an airplane Dave. I like how you blocked off the strong light in the upper right with your composition. You left just enough to let the viewer no what is shining on the plane. Good job.

Very good night shot, you must have a pass to have camera there !!! Down here I got run off the last time I was at the airport taking video of FEDEX loading. 2 years ago. I thne went to the airport board, made arrangements to be able to photograph planes, and then have never gone back.. I can go to MSP and get off of the freeway on to residential streets and get all the photos I want with no hassle. DLH is overdoing it a bit I think..

I like this night shot my friend, the lighting and tones are just wonderful.
I'm glad no one noticed you else you would have been sent to the FBI for fear of bombing the flights :0)
Good work my friend,
Khaled.

Very steady for a hand held shot, I like the lighting and how the shine outlines the plane. Looks cold out there. Alison

Dave, Wow, very well done. Yesterday I was on a boardwalk with camera on tripod. But every time someone came trodding along the camera felt it and would've been better without it...LOL Really well done on the lighting and focus. Marilyn

Despite the unfavorable conditions you captured an excellent photo, Dave. All the details can be seen and there is no blurring.
Thank you for your kind words about my "Memories from Kurdistan 7."
