About I wanted to see how well the 70-200 worked with the 1.4 extender. This taken on afternoon sunlight, high wind and just resting on the window sill. I have a piece of split neoprene tubing i slip over the edge of the window to rest the lens on. I guess I'll keep the extender.

This is so sharp I should think you'll keep that lens Jim. Any imperfections would be magnified with the converter but I can't detect any. Great shot.

Nice sharp focus and it doesn't look like you lost much light. Yep I would have to say the extender would be a keeper. :)
