Hi Nigel This Palace was repainted and open to the public two days before I took this photograph,I used a circular polarizer for the sky, and the dark area, I agree with you, is a huge rare tree imported by sir Francis Cook for the existing Public Gardens around the Palace which are full of exotic plants and an exuberant greenery! A lot of potential with the low angle and the red and blues contrasting well.However the dark area on the right is rather distracting and I feel the colours are rather to saturated and therby unatural
