About	US 1, one of Americas oldest and longest highways, ends (or begins) in Key West after traversing more than 100 miles of bridges and islands (keys) at mile marker 0, on Whitehead street in front of the courthouse. Almost three hours drive from Florida City (the last city in mainland Florida) the island of Key West is the gem of Florida and well worth the drive !
