Hi Markus. Your description does give the reason for including the leaves, but I couldnt help but to imagine what a pristine and beautiful shot this would have made without those leaves - it is however possibly something overdone by many, but nonetheless very effective. I consider you so lucky to have so many opportunities to take so many snow photos. Taking them between trees like this with shaddows is so effective. This one is something slightly different, so it is also a refreshing change nonetheless. Well done - I like it for what it is anyhow.

Thank you, Bryan. The brown leafes were an answer to a photograph of Drilan ( http://www.usefilm.com/image/716973.html )

Markus, an almost perfect shot. I love the shaddows, the snow, the patterns of the trees. I think the brown leaves distract somehow, though. A lovely photo - well done.

This is a very, very good shot, Markus. The pattern created by the leaves, trunks and shadows on the snow creates an entrance into a magical world. I like the cropping, too; i'd even crop the top a tiny bit further. Love it.

Beautiful pettern of light and shadow, Markus. Well observed and captured. The brown branches and leaves are a bit distracting. I would have removed the (possibly physically) if I were you. Thank you for your very friendly coments on my "dolls under leaf", my "Fantasy with J." and my "Girl's face." The mysterious smile on the face of the latter is possibly the result of her not knowing her fate. She may have suspected that she was going to be killed by gas and cremated. Nevertheless, best regards, Rafi

Beautiful capture of lights and shadows. You can even see the snow crystals glinting on the ground.
Thankyou so much Markus for adding me to your friends list. I am honoured.

Markus
