Awww... I have had many conversations with my friend about film vs digital and I am a digital user myself. This photo, however, really truly makes me understand how good film can really be. I don't normally see much truly great film work nowadays (with so much digital) but you've shot a piece on film with an old(er) camera that makes me feel otherwise for once. This is the kind of photo that really is honestly only possible with film. Bravo, excellent job, you've done something that only a few rare people in the world can do as amazing as this... =)

Alper, this is a masterpiece...it has a high degree of artistic merit IMHO. The composition, movement, light and tones conspire to make this sing. There is so much going on here that delights...the shape of the muddled or muted light from above, cast on the ground and illuminating the running man ...the mix between soft contrast, darks and highlights in the details of the building, street and man. I adore this and wish that I could procure a signed copy to frame and hang in my home.

Acaba beni yanlis anlarmisin bilmiyorum. Fotografa bakinca ilk soyle dusundum. Beyoglu acaba 1950 ler mi yoksa daha oncesimi. Daha dikatli bakinca "Ara Guler" klasiklerini gorur gibi oldum.
