Thanks Dave. I forgot to mention that it is two layered images. I reduced the density of the flower image and decreased the saturation while lighting the image to create the foggy effect.

Thanks Sal for your comment. It happens in Boston also. But because I am leaving tomorrow, flying to the land where it never snows, this is my gift to all of you stuck in the snow. A snow storm is predicted for today and tomorrow, hope that we get away on time.

Great picture. The lack of contrast contributes to the snow melt thing. I have trouble conseptualizing the whole winter into spring thing, alas Orlando cheats us out of that joy.
