David: I understand what you are meaning that your eyes is pulled away from the face. However the reason that I show the shoulder so much is because without them it's only a face. In my version I just love the way the shaddows are built up and producing wonderful lines (I don't know what the words is for the bones that are visible below the shoulder).

I love the original shown here. The cropped version immediately lost all magic for me as a viewer. The space that cradles this awesome subject creates an alluring inwardness feel and you can't help but visit this one and live in it for a moment or two. Wonderful.

Beautiful light and subject.
The tones are fantastic and so subtle, exquisite.
Excellent image Marcus.
Only thing that bothers me is the shoulders.
I find my eye is pulled away from the face.
Hope you dont mind, but I have cropped a little just for my sake.
