Wonderful work, Bikas. Looks like he already made a trip from Kota to Amarnath on his bicycle!

Excellent picture Bikasda...very casual atmosphere...like it very much, brings out the colorful & relaxed side of rural India. Just the sky has too much gradient, perhaps some PS work could recover that.

How did you convince him to let you photograph? Had you been talking with him?
I especially like the little cluster of people in the background. It add an air almost of humor to this photo--here you are, seemingly in the middle of a desert, with a Hindu monk on an accessorized bicycle and a few others hanging around in the background!
The burned out sky in the upper right is a pity, but difficult to avoid...
Cheers, Elaine

Wonderful photo, great perspective, with the main subject in front and to the side then the next grouping leading us further into the photo. The lighting is beautiful, and a fun and interesting subject. Going into my favorites. Alison

You have a wonderful eye, Bikas. This capture is brilliant. It gives a totally new perspective on 'India' but nevertheless centres on the traditional. Great colours made all the better by the sense of space created by the sand.
