About Same info as the previous image:
Captured this friendly guy at Lake Martin, Louisiana last weekend. It was a cloudy, gloomy day and not the best for outdoor photography. So I just made the best of it. Nikon D100, Nikon 300mm with Kenko 1.4x Teleconverter, ambient light only, ISO-200, 1/40th second @ f/8. Taken from my truck window.

Have looked at all three and just cannot decide which I like better ii or iii they are both so so good. This is like the nice sharp detail and has lots of texture in the bark as well, will go back to the other one

Great color and detail. Ruff light yes but you got the most out of it. Sounds like Lake Martin is still producing some interesting images.

Very cool shot I like you DOF with the owl and tree in focus. The lighting is good with no deep shaddows (one of the good things of those cloudy days). I like the position of the owl too. Very good that he didn't move on you shooting at 1/40.
This is a great photo.
