SO soft and feminine...so very beautiful Jennifer. Wonderful vison. That lens works so very well for this. I'm glad you bought it. It is really going to pay off in the long run.

thanks, Cary. Yes, Hornby is one of the gulf islands that lies in the straight of georgia between the west coast of bc & the east coast of vancouver island. You catch a ferry about 2 1/2 hrs. north of victoria on van. island, first over to denman island & then drive across denman & catch another ferry over to hornby. It's a bit of a journey to get here but well worth the effort! It's a glorious place - small, but with incredible beaches & landscape, & an amazing community filled with so many artists & artisans. You may want to check out tim schumm's usefilm portfolio - he lives here as well & has some amazing images from the island. If you do think about coming, let me know, it would be great to meet up & show you around a little! If you're planning a trip during the summer, you may want to think about booking sometime in the spring as the accomodation fills up pretty quickly here during the summer season. Keep me posted! :O)
Jennifer, this is really a nice image,soft colors and focus, very spring! Is that island off the coast of Vancouver? I really have been thinkng of going there sometime, tell me more, CAry
