Hi Carsten, thanks for your comment. you brought up a really good point, I had initially intended the photo for a comparison with "the last night" to show what mother nature could through at it. When I was shooting I tried a few different compositions but that one seemed to grow on me for landscape. you gave me an idea for a manipulation I'll see what I can come up with

I tested a square crop myself (just covering the right part), because I thought the empty space on the right does not add much to the image. But it does, you were right with this composition, and colors and lighting are striking.
As compared to the vertical shot this is more "heavenly", since there is no obvious connection to the ground, as in the other shot.
