Very well composed image Judi. Love the framing and the 'peek a boo' nature of this image. Great textures on the skin and details in the leaf. If the leaf had no dtail this shot would be only a patch on what it is. Just brilliant!

Aww thanks Nitish. You aren't the first to suggest a book, but to be honest, as much as I would love to do one...I really don't know where to start. I really need some guidance with that. I am lost in that department. As for your nose...it actually wasn't so blown out but when it wasn't as bright the image just looked to flat for my liking. So by having such a bright area next to such a dark area it seemed to woomph it off the screen. If that makes sense...LOL!!

Fantastic!! I just love the reflections in the eyes and the way the leaves frame the face. The veins in the leaf add a slight fill without distracting from the face and the eyes. And now I'll dare to nitpick ;) - how about some texture to the left of the nose and chin? These seem slightly overexposed. It does not detract from the overall look of the image though. Overall, the composition and the impact of this image are exemplary. I also like the poem.
Here's another idea - how about a book of your photos and poetry? The poem on the left page and the image on the right. I'll reserve a copy now :)

Thankyou Lily. Yes, I used the brightness and contrast on the eye to make it stand out as I felt the image had to much detail that was grabbing for attention. So I isolated one part to direct the viewer to that area which then radiated out to the rest of the image.
