Excellent work, Roger. You've captured a vision of surreal, almost alien atmosphere. The tonal gradations and detail are superb (good choice using the 'Blad and TCN) and the composition is outstanding. Light and shadow seem to be playing hide and seek with each other as they separate and merge in harmonious patterns across the frame. Well done. Kurt

If the gelatin is holding so much light energy wouldn't it get lighter?
Never could get my head around all this science stuff.
Cheers John

Fantastic shot Roger, looks like a 1950's movie set. Not that I can remember the 1950's, but I have seen the movies. The detail and sharpness is just stunning. Congrats!!!!!!!

Hi Ann probably from the fact that this was uploaded from a CD and not a print and I haven't done a whole lot of B&W in this way...plus the CD files a weird sizes 115.5cm X115.5cm @ 72DPI...so I dont get a lot of room to move.

Thank Kristin...yeah and added to that is the fact that film, when exposed actually gains mass from the light energy it absorbs...so your pack gets heavier!!!

Roger I love the square format in this image, I understand what you mean about the 45kg of camera gear. The b&w creates such atmosphere.
