PPPPPPPPPP, What in the world going on with you. Ignore the ---holes. Like many of them have said thier jealous of your work. I know I have dissapeared for a while but I never forget to look up usefilm. Shoot if you nned honest humble to me send me your pics for an opinion. Gee wiz don't quit usefilm. I am one of you many fans and admirers. Everytime I look up usefilm I am always looking to see what you got next and hoping that I get to that level one day. As for me film is too expensive for me to burn through especially since I switched to slide film. I have not found that was just right yet. I don't have the money for a good Digital camera yet so I am slowly trending water here. Anyway keep your head up yo. I don't think you have not a clue as to how much and how many people you inspire. Alright, I admit, I'm one of those wanna-be photographers. Heck, I'm not even a photographer, just a guy with a camera that takes bad pictures hoping a good one comes along and smacks me in the face some day. But that being said I have to express a question here. What kind of man do you call yourself when you get a little bent out of shape by the stupid comments of some people you'll never meet in person and who's work means nothing to you. It's the jealous rantings of those among my ranks. I'm surprised that you'd let that kind of thing get to you. Buck up and dismiss them as you will my foolish comments.
As for your work, by all means ditch this silly sight to make more money. Just remember that there are people here who admire your work and aspire to it. Infact, I would say that there are those among us who study it so as to someday be able to reproduce such images.
If UseFilm is no longer for you then I will wish you a fond fairwell, and hope that you come back soon. If you stay please continue to share your work with us so that the rest of us saps can have SOMETHING to aspire to. And for goodness sakes, don't pay attention to the crap that sometimes appears around here. You're better than that, I thought.

Patrick your re-vamping of the studio looks fantastic, great job!
Ok now my turn to voice an opinion....the dudes that have given you grief on here will never get it. I know its hard to ignore, especially when the losers are anonymously giving you crap ratings...but you should keep telling them to kiss your ass! They are a small, pathetic bunch and we are all aware of who the crazy ones are (with way too much time on their hands)...but you've been the only one game enough to attempt to set them straight! In the end again, they will never understand, so dont waste your time! You have so many more friends supporting you and always inspired by your skills, dont forget that.
This site would be dull without your images and spunky attitude! Keep them coming P.

Your art is public. And it always feels like somebody is taking it personally. Sometimes it's them and they're over-reacting or being stubborn. Sometimes, if you're honest, it's you, but you
can't stop having personal attachments to the work. In either case there is the chance to learn something. One of three things can happen: you learn who these critics really are inside, or you learn who you are, or if you are truly skilled you learn a bit about both. I never ignore the critics, they seek to harm me sometimes, but in each case I grow more than they do and I win.
If you go or stay it's your choice. You do have a business to run, and a diversity of talents to tap. Hope you keep in touch. Take care.

as long as you're not completely leaving us pat, then i say go do what you need to do =) you're an awesome photographer, i don't doubt in the least that your work load is increasing.

Ok, here goes and I am going to play mom here. First off, who came to my defense about my photos and creativity the other day? You did , why because you have the eye for creativity and art and people like that make you mad. As for me.
I saw all the comments on the statue photo. Pat, don't let them get to you. They hate the fact that you can create . You can do it with or without PS. I think its great. Of course they like the original, its a nude female for heavens sake. You created something original and thats you. You do what you like and when it jumps out at you from the screen and you sit back and say, "Oh my God" then you know its right. And if its right for you then post and don't let people get the best of you. Your better than that.
Ok, I will get off my soap box. For now.

I am not running away.
I am getting more busy every day at work and I can't afford to spend too much time on this anymore. I got 10 photoshoots coming this week and I really need to concentrate on that and not about people giving me stupid crap everyday.
I will be around but not as much. We'll see...
