Beautiful model. Nice picture. It?s hard to shoot a bad picture of a nice model. The skin tones are great. You have good color saturation. The lighting is good too.
IMO, she needed some catch lights in her eyes to bring life to the picture. The crop looks good as is but would it have better to show her hand holding the fan? That would give the fan a reason for being in the picture.
Regarding the soft/smooth look, you'll have to ask the model, but I hear it's an ancient Romanian secret. ;-)
Seriously, I just play around with various settings to see what happens. I have no training in photography or image editing, so am rather limited with what I can do. I call this my "softcon beach" effect 'cause I created it especially for the beach, but luckily it works just as well in the studio. It is a combination of softness and contrast settings (but it helps that the model has smooth/creamy skin).
