great simplicity, powerful, scary scale of the wall against fragile bike elements. i`m missing a human here, but maybe it`s sufficient to have the bikes only - they tell a lot about the human scale, don`t they?

Hi Todd
good to visit here? daydreaming always present, and everything is where it should be!
Very good picture ? the space of it? easy to imagine a large canvas against
an empty marble wall in one of those gigantic classical train stations one hardly visits anymore...

Excellent shot.

As this is our second meeting on these pages, I would like to suggest that we swich to first names. I am Rafi and unless you object, I'll refer to you as Todd. This time you give away a great deal about yourself, and I don't mean just the place you live. Many of the names you mention as being influenced by I am familiar with also. I read several of Vonnegut Jr.'s books, saw some of Kubrik's movies and one or two of my photos have been compared to Hockney's creations.
I opted to comment on the present photo not just because it is the last one you posted and hence the first one I saw this time, but also because it is relatively simple and simplicity, I've been told, is the secret of beauty in art.
Thank you for your very kind, warm words about my "Hotel and reflections."
Best regards,
Rafi
