Hi Bahadir, A no-smoking ad? Or Not a smoking ad?....:) I see what you mean, though. It's a high key portrait.
I think the angle in this composition is very strong, as well as the twirling smoke and the glasses, making it a 50's type of shot. Not so much the gangster, but the Private Eye. Very good dynamism in this shot, too, but I think it's just a bit too high key, loosing the textures and the dimensions abit. It blows out the image in a rather prominent place: the area of the nose and the bridge between the eyes. I think if the lighting was just a bit different, placing the highlight on his cheek on the right, the high key would have worked. In this case, I think a more natural and softer contrast would be my preferred choice. Nonetheless it's a very strong and confronting portrait.
