During lunch, this shot at low resolution because I ONLY had 16mb card. Clarity is lost when enlarged. Still not getting the macro mode to work right and camera seems to always focus in Pattern mode. I now have a 256mb

Good point on the rule of thirds, Peter. At the same time, the lower flower "pointing" is as key here... the image would not be so strong if the petals were pointing right, I think. My point on Daisies was that allowing a significant element in the picture to move out of the frame, as you did with the upperleft daisy, is to me important compositionally and too often deliberately prevented as we easily over-control an image and thereby lose movement and power.

Peter, congrats on getting a bigger card, it will help alot! My trip to Italy was the excuse to buy lots of cards, because we didn't take a laptop with us. So I bought four 128mb, two 256mb, and had one 64mb. Believe it or not that was enough for 1,658 photos at fine resolution! I was really surprised. Anyway, for regular walk-arounds I only use one 256mb and find it is more than enough. Could use an extra battery though!

Back to your photo... again the composition is very nice, you have a great eye. I like having the bee there too.

Amy
