The point of view is excellent for showing these amazing roots, and I agree with James Bambery that the people are a nice touch, adding color & scale.

A suggestion...for an entry exclusively under Nature category, you must exclude people (like Hoffman says) and also include the botanical name of the photo-subject. However, G's entry as the title indicates here, is more of a "Travel/People" and it best shows perspective of urban nature not excluding humans.

Awesome capture of an old tree. The people really add perspective to the photo allowing you to see just how big the tree is. Your composition showed just enough of the trunk to tease the mind, although it does tend to lead my eyes out of the photo. Well done.
