No worries Karly. There are many people (some here at usefilm) that have given me advice, and helped me improve. Sometimes a little help can speed you on your way, and when I can I am happy to give it.
The composition of this photo is basically strong, with the waterway in the centre dividing the frame into thirds. You could improve on the effect by using your image editing program (I use photoshop elements) to level the image. In this case since you do not have a horizon line, you can use boat in the centre of the image. A clock-wise rotation of about 2 degrees should about do it. This is a problem we all face, mine are usually 1 degree counter-clockwise to correct. By the way, you commented on the lighting effect in my Inukshuk photo. The "Star" filter I used is similar to Hoya Skylight filter you have except that it has grid imbedded in the glass that creates the effect. They are not expensive to purchase.
