not yet Corrie, I'm totally new to BW and generally to photography. Right now I'm just using channel manipulations on PS.

Do you have any filters? I find that my black and white images have better contrast when i use it, especially with any sky captures.

thanks Corrie,
by the way, I tried to do a similar shot of such a sky (second sky) but I couldn't get such a result as yours....

I did not add you to my friends list only so that you would add me to yours!! I added you only because your work facinates and inspires me, especially the black and white!

Dear Corrie, first of all thanks for including me in your friend's list. Since I'm not a donor yet and my list is already full, I promise to include you as soon as I'll become donor; for the moment consider it as it'd be done already. :-)
Let's talk about the picture: I saw your portfolio and noticed how nicely you can capture those funny baby's faces. I stopped on this although because it really strikes me. The sky so heavy and impetuous over the tree makes the composition excellent. I also like the balance between the ground and the sky, and the way the tree actually represents a bridge between the two.
Very good one, congratulations!
Maurizio

It was so cool to drive thru Kansas, it is a 360 degree kind of flat. But I got to see a storm roll in, it was just amazing unlike anything I had seen. this is the beginnings of that feeling.

A very dramatic scene, the perspective you have given with the far off trees and the vast field in between is great. Alison

Very tense. You can feel the impending storm. Well done.
