Nice shot Luis, and taken under quite difficult lighting conditions (dark shade in the alley way and bright light in the sky). You've done a great job of getting the balance right with only a small amount of overexposure in the sky in the upper right of the image although this isn't too distracting. Well done Luis!

I recognise this area,its close to where i live.
Edinburgh is great for this type of image I enjoy nothing better than walking around these closes enjoying the history, I agree this type of image works better in BW.
