if you had taken a couple of steps to your right you might have got a better angle of view on the angel.

I didnt
all I was trying to do (possible not in the right way ,was to put over the case of cutting and pasting (I do it but will say I I have done so.It was a send up and supposed to be funny.(I know didnt mean what would appear but I thought you had missed the (hopefully funny side (However we are still mates and the best of luck in 2005 regards from Kevin

Sorry 'man' but as I said it isn't my taste at all. I have tried to help with constructive criticsm but it is your choice as to whether to take it or not. The whole point of the forum (I thought) is to assist others with their technique and to exchange views on photos and photoart. I see others have written favourable comments as is their right. Each to their own. You have other images I do like so this is not a personal attack or criticism. I am sorry you seem aggreived at my critique. If I have offended you I apologise.

Interesting picture...
I like those "sand clouds" over the beach.
But I agree Alastair with the edge around the angel.
A layer of blur for the angel, increasing from the bottom to the top would make it probably look more natural. But maybe you like it that way.
Nice picture, good work.

Just for the records this is a bit fun that took 1 min and not to be taken serious.
Please read and take in what I am saying .(What I am saying is (in short) if you are cutting and pasting tell people

Sorry Keith. It definitely is 2 photos! There is a definite edge around the Angel and the junction of the Angel to the sand is distinctly unnatural... Try feathering the interfaces between the Angel and the background a bit and perhaps using the transform tool to change the perspective a bit. Also I think a little disturbance of the sand where the Angel meets would help a lot. As it stands it doesn't really work for me at all...
