Roberto, I found out what the name of this flower is. The photo I sent you was a Tibouchina urvelleana or Princess flower. You might have a different species. Was that flower in the wild or was it cultivated.

Do you know the common name or the scientific name of this flower. I saw a flower pretty close to this in the Glasier Conservatory and it was not identified. It had the same saw like stamens that this flower does.
