About Its obviously very hard to choose just one favourite picture from a whole year but for me this shot came out exactly as I had seen it without any manipulation only a minor bit of levels and curves. I like to strive for this I am not really into digitally created shots. I don't even rally like zapping a sky up a bit with some cloud from elsewhere. It feels like cheating lol. I was strolling around inside the Louvre and these stairs and the patterns cast on the floor from the glass pyramid above were crying out here a photograph. As I was leaving I went up these stairs and bingo there it was set off nicely by this suited man. There you have it my favourite shot for this year.

Good choice! Yes it is hard to pick one best image!
But the project that is even harder is ?your best photograph?
That would be the end! To pick THE best photograph would mean that I?ll never do better!!!?!! :-\

Excellent composition! I love the riser's pattern get along well with the space frame's shadow pattern. The man's image add to the depth and movement. Well done.

Hanggan
