I like the new one better. Somehow the lines in the fingers abd palm detract from the little foot. The "update" is perfection. :-)

Nicely portrayed. This image is very strong and well composed. I saw is a comment where you called yourself a "beginner". I would not say the word applies to what I see here. You are far from beginner status. This image appears to be well thought out and executed. Bravo, Bruce and a fine capture!

Thanks for your comment on my Dragon Fly image. Of all your shots, this one is by far my favourite. I saw a coloured version but the B+W is definitely the way to go. This is the sort of image Ella will look upon as an adult, so happy that you captured it. Very special...

Wow! It's great! I saw so many variants about small child foot and adults big hands, but never so expressive as yours. Excellent, absolutely excellent looking scene. Wow... To my Favorites.

Bobby, I never mind people playing with anything I post. I see myself very much as a beginner at this game and I'll take assistance from wherever I can get it. I appreciate the time it takes to adjust a photo and repost it. That said, I won't always prefer it over the original! That's an interesting crop you've produced there, and I do like it, but I think I prefer the overall power of the full shot on this occasion. Thanks for taking the time though.

This shot has a great impact that shows the "small little feet", details of the feet and the palm and the B&W contrast.
I've tried cropping your shot and it also give another mood... ... :>
