Qué maravilla que recuerdes viejos oficios! Esta foto me encanta. La de la fabrica de cristal, conozco el ambiente, pero el que la cabeza de uno de ellos se confunda, me daba no se que, ya me entiendes, pero me gusta la foto. Esta es limpia, y que el primer plano este desenfocado refuerza la dirección para mirar a la sra. Muy bueno. Saludos.

Hello Cagatay.
What that woman is doing is lace. I believe that that is the correct word in English. In Spanish is called "encaje" or "puntilla".
I enclose an image of the result of that work.
Today that work is made by machines, but years ago was made by hand with threads coiled in those small sticks that in Spanish are denominated "bolillos", so the "old lace" (the title of de photo) is called "encaje of bolillos" It is so complicated that that words has become to be an idiom, so, when somebody makes something very complicated that requires much care of, we say that it is making "encaje de bolillos"
