Strange you should say "poetic".
I did in fact produce a Valentine's card the following year - using a print from this slide as the picture on it.
Difficult to believe that was 21 years ago.

awww, that's so sweet, about your wife to be. this is a lovely photograph. i was initially attracted to it because of the coloring; just lovely. it reminds me of New England, in the U.S. thanks for sharing!
